036 Registration

What is it?​

  • It is the expression of the will by the issuer or holder of an Electronic Sales Invoice as a bill of exchange in RADIAN. It is mandatory for the registration of the electronic sales invoice as a bill of exchange.
  • It is divided into First Registration for General Negotiation and First Registration for Direct Prior Negotiation.
  • One or several of these events can be registered for a specific electronic document.

Who is responsible for generating the electronic document?​

  • The issuer, Biller, or its Legitimate Holder is responsible.

Who is responsible for receiving the electronic document?​

  • DIAN is responsible.
Restrictions
  • Electronic sales invoices that do not have the characteristics to be considered as a bill of exchange.
  • The first registration of the electronic sales invoice must be generated after the issuance of the mandate by the attorneys, representatives of the issuer, biller, or legitimate holder previously registered with DIAN when the participant has a mandate contract for the generation of events.
  • The “Endoso en garantía” event restricts the generation of this event.
  • The “Endoso en procuración” event restricts the generation of this event.
  • The “Limitación para circulación” event restricts the generation of this event.
  • The “Protesto” event restricts the generation of this event.
  • The “Transferencia de los derechos económicos” event restricts the generation of this event.
  • The “Pago total de la factura electrónica de venta” (452) restricts the generation of this event.
  • The termination of the mandate by the attorney.
