Brazil: AP — Reception

Document reception in Brazil is handled through NDD as an intermediary with the tax authority (SEFAZ / Prefeituras). NDD is responsible for schema, signature and status validations; Gosocket stores and manages the documents with the status provided by NDD.

⚠️ Mandatory activation in NDD Space

In Brazil, each customer (TaxID) must be activated in the NDD Space portal for reception to work correctly. This activation is an indispensable prerequisite; without it the flow stops.

In most countries reception operates directly via inbox. Brazil adds this additional activation layer.

Team responsibilities

NDD

Create the company in NDD Space; enable issuance and reception configurations; generate reception inboxes per TaxID for CT-e, NF-e and NFS-e; include all TaxIDs in the technical responsible group (mandatory for CT-e and NF-e).

Operations Team

Verify in NDD Space that the features are active. If not: enable direct SEFAZ query for CT-e, NF-e and NFS-e; configure download starting from the most recent document. Complete setup in Gosocket Inbox → Settings → "Tax Authority" tab.
