Reconciliation in Colombia
The Reconciliation feature in Colombia was designed with the goal of facilitating the validation of the receipt of Electronic Tax Documents (DTE). This process is carried out by exchanging files in XML format via email, allowing DTE receivers to verify and confirm the received documentation efficiently and in accordance with current regulations.
Through this feature, it is possible to compare the DTE registered with the National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN) against those actually received through Gosocket, which makes it possible to detect discrepancies or missing documents and, consequently, take the necessary actions.
It is important to keep in mind that, according to Colombian regulations, the legal deadline for the buyer (purchaser) to carry out this validation is 3 business days from the receipt of the good or service, for the express rejection or acceptance of the document.
