What is the process of a reconciliation in Colombia like?

Once we activate the feature and request the reconciliation of a period, the following flow is carried out internally:

1. The DTE receiver requests the reconciliation of a period through the automatic upload of the Excel report directly from the DIAN, or through the manual upload of the same Excel report containing the previously received DTE, downloaded from the DIAN, and their commercial events.

   You can obtain this Excel manually from the DIAN by following the process shown in: Manual report download from the DIAN

2. The information in the Excel and the documents in Gosocket are processed.

3. The documents that are not in Gosocket but are in the Excel uploaded from the DIAN are obtained.

4. Query of the status of the documents to reconcile.

5. Synchronization of the DTE that are in the DIAN and not in Gosocket, or that have a status not validated by the Tax Entity. (In case the option to synchronize documents was selected).

6. The commercial events of the synchronized DTE and events found in the uploaded Excel are synchronized.

7. The user will be able to view the records of the DTE that are in the DIAN, that are not in Gosocket, and vice versa.

DTE synchronization from the DIAN

Synchronization is performed only if:

• The option was checked when requesting the reconciliation.
• The document to synchronize is manually selected from the reconciliation detail.

Which documents are synchronized?

• DTE uploaded via Excel and that are not in Gosocket. (If the documents in the DIAN were uploaded manually)
• DTE obtained Automatically from the report on the DIAN website and that are not in Gosocket. (If the list of documents in the DIAN was obtained Automatically)
• DTE that are indeed in the DIAN and also in Gosocket, but in a status other than "Validated" and "Voided" in Inbox, that is, they have a status inconsistency with the DIAN.

What is the process like?

• The XML files are obtained and the status is updated from the DIAN using the available services, running the entire reception process.

Commercial event synchronization

The synchronization of commercial events from the DIAN is performed only if:

• The option "Synchronize commercial events automatically" was checked when requesting the reconciliation.

Which events are synchronized?

• Commercial events uploaded via Excel and that are not in Gosocket. These events belong to documents issued by the company.
• Commercial events of the documents synchronized from the DIAN during reconciliation.

What is the process like?

• For each DTE synchronized from the DIAN, the system will query and retrieve the available commercial events, following the usual flow.

• The records in the Excel file (uploaded manually or automatically from the DIAN website), whose Document Type is Application Response, will be processed to obtain the commercial acknowledgment. In these cases:

  • The system will query directly with the DIAN to obtain the XML corresponding to the commercial acknowledgment.
  • The obtained XML file will be processed according to the standard commercial event reception flow.

• If the commercial event already exists in the Gosocket platform, no additional action will be taken, avoiding duplicates.
