Factor Colombia Manual

The Factor Colombia gadget allows financial institutions to upload third-party documents and, after generating a mandate, perform RADIAN events on those documents.

Process flow

The module has two main processes:

• Mandate management: Functionality that allows the creation and termination of mandates. This is an occasional task and must be run before going into operation with a client. Administratively, our client (the financial institution) must instruct its own clients to add Gosocket as a technology provider in DIAN and RADIAN.

• Document management: Process that allows uploading third-party tax documents, querying the events registered with the tax authority such as the negotiable instrument status (acknowledgment of receipt, receipt of goods, and express or implied acceptance) and its RADIAN events (registration, endorsement, payment report, payment), and generating RADIAN events using the RADIAN API.

Navigating Factor

Among the options shown in the Factor main menu, we find the following functions:

Upload Invoices

Starts an operation by uploading a TXT, CSV, or XLSX file with the CUFEs of the invoices to be processed (maximum 20). Invoices are downloaded automatically from DIAN. Requires registering Gosocket Colombia as the receiver's electronic invoicer.

Invoices

Initial stage where the negotiable instrument status is verified by validating events 030 (Acknowledgment of receipt), 032 (Acknowledgment of reception), and 033/034 (Acceptance). Allows generating event 036 (Registration) and 037 (Endorsement). Once endorsed, the document moves to Payments.

Payments

Manages documents with endorsement 037 validated in RADIAN. Allows generating event 046 (Payment report, up to 3 days before the due date) and event 045 (Payment).

History

Viewer for documents with a completed process (validated payment event). Allows querying the event log.

Mandates

Generates event 043 (Mandate type 432 — Special power of attorney, unlimited) and event 044 (Mandate termination).
