FAQs
- How are user accounts managed in Gosocket when they are removed from the client?
Gosocket integrates with the IdP (Identity Provider) only for authentication (SAML). If a user is inactive in the client's company and their account is blocked or deleted in the client's IdP, in Gosocket the user will not be able to authenticate, but their account on the platform will remain until the client's administrator user deletes it in the Gosocket portal.
- Request protocol that will be used.
SAML 2.0
- What attribute should be used as NameID?
Email, which is the standard.
- Can SSO be enabled/disabled per user?
No, it is per domain.
- What types of environments does SSO have in Gosocket?
Sandbox and Production.
- Does the application support login initiated by both the service provider (SP) and the identity provider (IDP), or only by one of them?
Only by the SP.
SP-initiated login: The process is initiated by the Service Provider (the application). The user accesses the application, it redirects the user to the Identity Provider to authenticate, and after that, it redirects them back to the application with the SAML token.
